Personal Areas of Interest: Outside of work, Rachel enjoys snowboarding, hiking, golfing, exercise and spending time with her family and friends.
Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. Her studies taught her the importance of wellness practices to a person’s quality of life and the relationship between physical activity and proper treatment to restore health and prevent future injury. While completing her undergraduate studies, she volunteered in several physiotherapy clinics and research settings where she worked with a wide range of patients. These experiences have enhanced her ability to communicate respectfully and effectively. During Rachel’s undergrad she was a competitive Alpine Snowboarder, competing at the international level representing Canada.
