We are proud to be taking over the clinic and legacy left by Noreen Manger, who for decades practised as a clinician and physiotherapy clinic owner on Weston road.
Noreen was described as a force of nature and was a physiotherapist’s physiotherapist. Over the last several years her children John, Alice and Liz, have been running the clinic. They are fantastic people, and we wish them the best in all endeavours.
Noreen was a therapist who expected you to make an effort and work to get better. People would come from other cities to see her because of her genuine dedication. She started her clinic in a very humble residential area and eventually took over two stories of a building at 1730 Weston road. Eventually buying the building, her success was legend and people would come from as far as Orangeville to see her.
Focus Physiotherapy on Lawrence Avenue has big shoes to fill in the Mount Dennis Weston area. Focus Physiotherapy also started in a small unit 20 years ago and over time has grown to include this (our sixth) location. No shortcuts, just an old school work ethic.
We have that very much in common with Ms Manger.
With every passing of the baton, we learn from our past and add our touch.
