Focus Physiotherapy provides Physiotherapy for Canadian Refugees

Focus Physiotherapy clinics are participant clinics in the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) which provides limited, temporary coverage of health-care benefits to resettled refugees, refugee claimants and certain other groups.

Our team at Focus Physiotherapy provides services under contract with the Ontario government through Ontario Health Insurance Plan and now through the Interim Federal Health Program.

If you are a refugee, we will assist with your recovery and will obtain all the necessary authorisations to enable you to focus on your recovery.

How It Works:

Obtain a physician referral, if you have trouble finding a family physician we can direct you to available community resources.

Once you have a referral come to our clinic, or office staff will take all the proper steps to obtain pre-authorisation for you. The process may take a few days, but our team will inform you as soon as everything is approved.

Since the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) only reimburses registered health-care providers that have been authorized to submit a claim for reimbursement.

We will take care of the claims submission process.
